Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"As most have said the kiosk is cute and the staff is friendly, the service was good. The prices are a bit high but considering the location and view it was acceptable. we had the ho dogs and they have a nice arrangement of condiments, sauerkraut, onions, mustard, etc."
"Nice cozy place with kind staff. Good food and varied menu. Icream was there. Dine in table and lots of picnic tables around. Ample washroom and parking. However parking can be hard to find on a busy weekend. Over all worth it follow for more."
"This is a wonderful spot for enjoying ice cream within Banff National Park. The ice cream is made locally in Banff, offering a wide array of both unique and classic flavours to select from. I opted for the Lavender Lemonade, which perfectly combined sweetness and tartness."
"The ice cream is perfect on a hot day! The price is a bit high (6,5 single 8,5 double) but tastes great! Didn't try the burgers tho. So this will be my review for this as a ice cream shop!"
"The sandwich looks small, but it was a filling lunch and was yummy. The place was nice and cozy. Staff were nice. Ice cream was not available that day as there was problem with freezer."
"Not that long of a wait, and many options available including various ice cream flavors. The ice cream tasted great though beware they come with multiple scoops."
"Went in June… Honestly, better than I thought. We stopped by before back to Calgary. Traveling with family of 4 with 2 little ones. Kids got hungry while playing nearby and decided to grab some snacks. We all got hotdogs and icecream. Both were really good!! Hotdogs maybe hotdogs but bun/sausage came out hot and fresh! the Buns was good not the cheap kind. Ice cream was made local! Everybody was in line for the ice cream but if your in the mood you should get the hotdogs too!!! The views amazing too!!"
"This is the only restaurant which is in close proximity to Lake Minnewanka. It’s location is a perfect spot to enjoy the Lake view as well as the Mountain view. They serve pizza slices. It seemed slightly expensive for just a slice of pizza (which costed around $ 8.5) but taste wise it was damn good. They are known for their desserts so don’t miss to have a bite of their ice creams, specially the ones with waffle cone."
